Stovetop – A Father’s Love

Christian rapper Stovetop presents his song “A Father’s Love” off his recently released Lights EP.

The artist had this to say about the song:

This song is basically written for everyone and is broken up into three specific verses. The first verse is written to my dad thanking him for everything he’s done for me in my life. I’m so grateful for how I was raised and provided for – I wanted to let him know that. The second verse is written to my own children. I currently have two boys, and they are my world. This verse is about what they mean to me and letting them know I’ll always love them. The third verse is written for anyone who maybe didn’t have the best example of an earthly father figure. I know that’s something many people never experience, at least in a positive way. So whether their dad was never around or maybe passed away tragically, we are all still loved by our Heavenly Father. I want to make sure people know that.
