Phill Evans – Elevate EP

After putting together an impressive catalog of singles and the well-received EP, Texas State of Mind in late 2018, Phill Evans is back with his second EP, Elevate available on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, and more.

This album is meant to inspire the listener to elevate over the obstacles and negativity they face in life. This project is special to him because it has been created by him. From production to recording to mixing and mastering, every sound you hear was put together by Phill Evans.

The EP opens with “The Come Up” which has a third coast vibe and ends with a twist as the track is pitched way down. The next three songs, “Rock Lee,” “Elevate,” and “You Already Know,” are all gameday anthem type songs where Evans is challenging the listener to go farther and harder than ever as they strive to reach whatever goals and dreams they have for themselves.

This ends with the appropriately named track, “P.U.S.H.” (Pray Until Something Happens). In this song, Evans details how he’s had doubts and challenges throughout life but found direction, strength, and hope in God as he continued to pray and seek God.

Every song on this project was made on purpose and for a purpose, and it is evident that Evans is pushing to get the listener to believe the same about themselves.
